God get's the first.
This our view on stewardship.
Everything was created for Him and His glory. Everything!
You probably said to yourself today, “I need to learn how to put God first in my life.” I say to you how can you put God first when He is probably not even third in your life? Examine yourself. Examine your life. Would it be a problem for you to give God everything?

Romans 11:36 says: “Everything is from him and by him and for him. Glory belongs to him forever! Amen!”
Give God the first part of every DAY.
The secret of a happy life is giving God the first part of your day. When we seek God first in our daily pursuits, He promises to add unto us those things which we are pursuing (as long as they are in His will). Ultimately, we believe that giving God the first minutes of our day will pay dividends later.
Psalm 143:8 says: “ Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”
Give God the first day of every WEEK .
“As God is exalted to the right place in our lives, a thousand problems are solved all at once.” – A.W. Tozer
Prioritizing God in our lives should be first on our agenda, not house, car, job, a mate, but God.
As a matter of practice, begin setting aside the first day of every week to honor God first, you will never be last in anything. Why, you ask?

Matthew 6:32-34 says: “The people who don’t know God keep trying to get these things, and your Father in heaven knows you need them. Seek first [Be concerned above all else with] God’s kingdom and what God wants [his righteousness]. Then all your other needs will be met as well. So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Give God the first part of your INCOME .
Whatever we want God to bless, we have to put him first. So if we want God to bless our finances, we have to put him first in our money. This is the principle of tithing: We give the first 10 percent of your income back to God. There are three verses that explain the promise, the purpose, and the day for tithing.

Psalm 143:8 gives the promise about tithing:
“Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income, and he will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with the finest wines” (TLB). God says that if we honor Him with the first part of our income, He will bless us financially.

Why does God tell us to tithe? Deuteronomy 14:23 says, the purpose of tithing is to teach us always to put God first in our lives. God doesn’t need our money, but he wants what it represents — our heart. He wants us to trust him.

Finally, when are we supposed to tithe? we do it on the day you worship. The Bible says in
1 Corinthians 16:2: “On every Lord’s Day each of you should put aside something from what you have earned during the week, and use it for this offering. The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn” (TLB).
Give God the first consideration in every DECISION.
Try to always have God on your mind. Meditate on His word day and night. Make an active effort in asking and talking to Him about everything no matter how small. Then perhaps, you will learn to discern the Spirit of God as it speaks to you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (ESV).
